Während der kalte Winter langsam aber sicher dem Frühling weicht, geht die Showtime in die vierte Runde. Mit den steigenden Temperaturen treiben wir im März auch das Dancehall Thermometer noch weiter nach oben und versorgen euch wie gewohnt mit dem Besten aus Dancehall, Reggae, Hip Hop und mehr. Tatkräftige Unterstützung erhält Sting like a bee diesmal von den Frankfurter Shootingstars DUBS TILL DAWN. Mit ihrer erfolgreichen "Dancehall University" Veranstaltung zeigen sie in ihrer Heimatstadt regelmäßig, wie eine gelungene Dancehallparty auszusehen hat und man darf sich sicher sein, dass auch das Rude 7 bis in die Morgenstunden vibrieren wird. Wie immer gibt es zusätzlich zum premium Entertainment auch noch tolle Specials an der Bar, und als ob das alles nicht genug Grund zum Erscheinen wäre, gibt es im März zudem eine der besten Dancehallqueens Deutschlands bei ihrem Auftritt zu bestaunen. Winter's gone, spring is here and Showtime's going stronger than ever. But it's not just the outdoor temperature rising, Showtime Vol. 4 is once again gonna be straight fire in dancehall, reggae and hip hop entertainment. The additional spark for the march edition will be delivered by Frankfurt's own DUBS TILL DAWN, well renown for their excellent "dancehall university" party series in FFM and their thru-the-roof dancehall style. Also, rumour has it, there will be a special appearance by one of germany's top dancehallqueens: stay tuned for more information. Ever since the day DJ Kool Herc used his reggae background and became the hip hop founding father back in the 1970's, the kinsmanlike relationship between hip hop and reggae has developed in manifold ways. Reggae and dancehall artists riding hip hop beats, rappers using tracks based on reggae or dancehall samples, countless cross-genre remixes and collabos, the work of jamaican descendants in urban environments... the connections between the genres run deep. After the smoke cleared Sting Like A Bee was still standing and two sounds were dead. Respect to all massive, Jamrock HiFi, Guns-E-Num Clash Promotion and our competitors Liquid Fire and Run Dem. They put up a good fight but in the end Sting ruled the lawn. Make sure you witness the final clash in December 2008.
